The 1st Annual JASC Japan Cup trivia contest, in Partnership with the Colorado Japanese Language Education Association, will be held in Strum Hall on DU's Campus. Students from around the Rocky Mountain region will compete in teams against each other, testing their Japanese grammar, kanji, listening, reading comprehension, social and cultural knowledge.

During the morning preliminary rounds (now open to the public) parents, teachers, students and spectators are invited to browse and partake in an array of cultural activities offered. Last year's presentations included aikido, go, anime (Japanese animation), and manga (Japanese comics).

In the afternoon, watch the top three teams of each level as they go head-to-head in the final rounds.
