Faye Kleeman, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Japanese, Department of East Asian Languages and Civilizations, University of Colorado, Boulder will discuss and explain the pop culture of Japanese anime which has also become a popular art form throughout Asia.

Anime, sometimes also referred to as Japanimation, is a visual narrative that has its origin in Western animated films but has evolved into a highly artistic and sophisticated genre of story telling that caters not only to children but to a variety of adult niche markets.
