| Details | The Keizai Koho Center, in cooperation with the National Association of Japan-America Societies (NAJAS) will sponsor a ten day Fellowship to Japan in the summer of 2007 for educators in the U.S. and Canada. The Fellowship allows teachers to learn first hand about contemporary Japanese society and enhance their classroom teaching of global perspectives. |
| Other | Tentative Fellowship Dates: June - July, 2007 The Fellowship covers roundtrip air transportation from the Fellow's home city to/from Japan, accomodations, transportation as called for by the itinerary, and some meals. |
| Eligibility | The Fellowship is only open to those who have never lived in Japan and have not visited Japan on a similar study tour. The Fellowship is open to: High School teachers of Economics, Social Studies, and History (grades 8-12); Supervisors, specialists, and school administrators at the district and state levels; Faculty associated with 4-year colleges who are directly concerned with the training of K-12 teachers |
