Works of thirty of Japan's finest modern calligraphers comprise this exhibit with works in Chinese characters, seal engraving and abstract black-ink paintings. The exhibition has toured the Asian and European countries and will show at the University of Colorado at Boulder from April 24 - May 7. The opening day will feature a lecture by Keiji Onodera, Japan's leading calligraphy art critic and curator of the exhibition. The lecture will be followed by a demonstration by Choso Kuramoto, a professor at Tokyo Gakugei University in Japan. A reception will follow the lecture and demonstration.
