The April Discussion Series is about ikebana, Japanese flower arranging. Ikebana is an old Japanese art tracing back to the 6th century. As opposed to Western flower arrangements, this Japanese art encompasses the vase, stem leave, and branches in addition to the blossoms. Join us for this interesting Discussion Series. Special guests from the Sogetsu Colorado Branch ikebana school will provide an ikebana demonstration by Ms. Seiko Yoshikawa and narration by Ms. Ruby Maruyama.
