The June Discussion Series will feature a presentation by Nan Desu Kan, a local company invested in Japanese art, games, culture, and animation. Jon Walker, who has worked at Nan Desu Kan since its beginning, will discuss Japanese animation, anime.

Speaker Biography

The discussion will be hosted by John S. Walker. John is the president of Denver Anime International, Colorado's oldest anime club. DAI has been dedicated to the appreciation of anime for the past twenty-four years. John is also a valued staff member of Nan Desu Kan, Colorado's own anime convention. This annual event is where fans gather and share their passion for Japanese art, animation, and culture.

This year Nan Desu Kan will be held the weekend of October 6-8.
