Produced by the Aurora Asian/Pacific Community Partnership, the Denver Film Society and the City of Aurora, the 2006 Festival offers a cinematic journey to Asia and the Pacific Islands, allowing for the filmmakers' perspectives on the rich and diverse cultures of Asian/Pacific Islands and Asian-Pacific American peoples.

Other highlights include a free outdoor film in the sunken garden theatre at the MLK Library on Saturday at dusk and Asian-themed art exhibits with local artists throughout the Festival, one at the Aurora Fox Arts Center and at The Other Side Arts at 1400 Dallas St.
