The 16th Annual Japan–America Grassroots Summit (simply called the “Manjiro Summit”) is a meeting of Americans and Japanese from all walks of life who want to get to know each other, exchange ideas, and share cultures for mutual understanding and friendship. This year’s Manjiro Summit will be held in Colorado Springs.
Participants coming from Japan will be staying at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs for a couple days, and then they will scatter across Colorado for the Homestay portion of the event. Approximately 30 host families in the Denver area are needed to welcome participants into their home from September 7 - 10. The participants coming to Denver are interested in the arts, culture, music and other events that Denver can provide.
Please consider hosting a Japanese guest!
