2017 Japan Cup Guidelines- Please read before registering.
Student & Parental Consent Form- All students must turn in their signed consent forms to their teachers. Teachers should submit all signed consent forms for all participants, as a group, to JASC via email or post prior to April 22, 2017. (Scanned copies are accepted.)
Study Guide- Topics and Sample questions to help prepare for the competition.
Teams- There is no limit on the number of teams from each institution. Each team must be comprised of the same competitors for the entire event. Teams must have a minimum of two and maximum of three competitors.
Registration- Registration forms must be submitted by midnight Sunday, March 26, 2017. Forms should be submitted by either the teacher or guardian. You can find the online registration form below or click here to open in a new page.
Participation/ Cancellation Fees: $10 per student with a minimum of two students per team. *Cancellation after 8:30am on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 will incur a $25 penalty fee per student. Teachers/ Guardians should ensure that one lump sum payment for their team(s)/ school is remitted. (We cannot process payments for individual participants or teams.) Payment can be made below or by mailing a check to our office. Thank you for your cooperation.
This year's competition will be at University of Denver's Sturm Hall (map), which is the same location as previous recent years. You are welcome to park in any paid visitor lot on the DU campus or street parking nearby. (Please pay attention to permit parking signs in residential areas.) Check-in begins at 8:30am. Preliminary Rounds begin at 9am. The final rounds are open to the public and begin at 12:45 in Davis Auditorium (located in Sturm Hall).
