Join Japan America Society of Colorado on Monday, Jan. 23rd from 6-7:30pm at the Denver Central Library in downtown Denver as we host David Wagner interviewing Professor Joyce Lebra about her new book We Chose Colorado: Japanese American Voices.
Her book traces oral histories of Japanese immigrants who settled in Colorado from the earliest pre-World War II arrivals and continuing to the present.

Professor Lebra received her PhD in Japanese History from Harvard/ Radcliffe and has received many awards and accolades throughout her distinguished career. She was also an early member of JASC!


David Wagner is a leading media and business communication consultant who splits his time between Denver and Tokyo.

Mr. Wagner and Professor Lebra have a long-standing friendship that will be evident when you see them interact at this event!
