2017 Japan Cup Announced
Japan Cup is a friendly language competition for students in middle school, high school, and 2nd year of college level Japanese. JASC has been the host of the current Japan Cup format since 2008.
The goal of the JASC Japan Cup is to offer all interested middle schools, high schools and colleges in the Rocky Mountain Region (Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, and Wyoming) an opportunity for a fun-filled experience testing Japanese language, history, current events and cultural knowledge. Please note that this event is run independently of the JAS of Washington, D.C. Japan Bowl. Cultural demonstrations are also provided throughout the day for all participating students.
This fun-filled day of inspiring Japanese language education and culture includes:
Cultural activities for participating students, Preliminary and Final Rounds of competition, Lunch provided for participants and volunteers, T-shirt included for participants and volunteers, Goody bag for participating students, Prizes for the top 3 teams in each level!
The 2016 winners of the JASC Japan Cup were: Level 1 Laredo Middle School; Level 2 Castle View High School; Level 3 Smoky Hill High School and Level 4 Colorado State University.
