JASC Member Meishi Exchange - business luncheon

Calling all JASC members and friends!

Please join us for a casual lunch on Monday, September 26 from 12:00pm to 1:30pm.  We will meet in the conference room at Davis Graham and Stubbs - 1550 17th Street, Suite 500, Denver, CO 80202.  Box lunch will be served.

We will welcome Mr. Yusaku Hayashi - author and expert on Kyoto's 100-year old companies will make a presentation entitled:

Shinise: Embracing tradition and innovation in long-lived Japanese companies

In Kyoto there are over 1,200 businesses that have been in existence for over 100 years - and a large number that have existed for more than 300 or 400 years!  This is a phenomenon that occurs extremely rarely around the world.

So what is the secret to these Kyoto companies?
What can we learn from them for our own future?
How can this teach us about business practices in Japan today?

Come and join us - and meet other JASC members!
