Keynote Address by Mr. Hiroyuki "Bob" Takai - Mr. Takai has served as President & CEO of Sumitomo Corporation Global Research Co., Ltd. and is recognized as one of the most proficient speakers in the area of energy, liquid natural gas, and commodities trading. He as recently appointed to the Washington DC office of Sumitomo Corporation of Americas.
Senator Cory Gardner is a fifth-generation Coloradan and began serving in the U.S. Congress in 2011. In the Senate, Cory Gardner serves as a member of the Senate Energy & Natural Resource Committee, Chairman of the Energy Subcommittee, and Chairman of the Subcommittee on East Asia, the Pacific and International Cybersecurity Policy.
Jacob Schlesinger has split the past quarter century between Washington and Tokyo for the Wall Street Journal covering politics, diplomacy, and economic policy. He has also worked as Tokyo bureau chief and deputy Washington bureau chief. Jacob is the author of “Shadow Shoguns: The Rise and Fall of Japan’s Postwar Political Machine”.
Mr. Aburaki has worked together with the National Association of Japan-America Societies to provide unique business content and information about U.S.-Japan relations to a broad audience across the United States. He served as Keidanren Representative in the US and a Fellow at Center for Strategic International Studies (CSIS) in Washington DC.
