Join JA-NE for the Way of the Warrior, an intimate evening of Japanese samurai influenced arts and culture activation in the heart of Downtown Denver at Sakura Square (between 19th and 20th on Larimer Street), 6:30 PM on 10.05.19.
Enjoy live street art painting with CRUSH walls artist Casey Kawaguchi, music from local Japanese Panamanian-American hip-hop artist, ICHIBAN, Japanese taiko drumming with MC 3Two + Akatsuki breakdance crew, and an Okinawan shamisen duo led by artist Mamiko Ikeda.
The evening will also feature a local artist pop-up shop, interactive art demos, info about modern-day samurai influence, food trucks, Pacific Mercantile goodies, and more!
